The room we were assigned had a pervasive moldy odor that made it hard to breathe. Additionally, the pool was in disrepair with significant cracks that raised safety concerns, making it impossible to relax around it. The service was frustratingly poor. I often had to remind staff for simple requests, which made the dining experience abysmal, not to mention the unavailability of half the menu.

The Sambo Mambo Beach Hotel boasts a fantastic location right by the beach, where I enjoyed breathtaking sunset views every evening. My King Studio was clean, equipped with air conditioning, and had a flat-screen TV. The overall atmosphere was laid back, and I made the most of my stay relaxing by the pool, which felt like a tropical paradise.

First room smelled of mold, making it uncomfortable. I got moved to another room, which had working AC but a clogged shower. Cleanliness was lacking too, as I found bugs in my hair after sleeping. The staff didn’t seem proactive, leaving us to find our own food at the bar, which was also disappointing. Paid quite a bit, but the experience just didn’t match the price.

The bed in my King Studio was large and provided a comfortable night's sleep. Edwin, the staff member, was extremely helpful and went out of his way to resolve my concerns during my stay. The garden view was refreshing, offering a peaceful atmosphere that enhanced my relaxation.

The staff really made the stay enjoyable, especially the manager who was always checking in on us. Everything was spotlessly clean and the parking area was paved, which makes it easy for riding around on a motorcycle.

It wasn't cheap , but given the experience, I'd say it was still acceptable.
